Privacy Policy
This is the policy we operate under today. It is not a lawyer-reviewed document, and Oydin.app is not yet a registered company (MChJ). We will replace it when we have a legal entity and counsel. Until then, this is what we actually do.
Who we are
Oydin.app is a small directory run from Almalyk, Uzbekistan. There is no registered company yet. Write to support@oydin.app.
What Oydin is
A public list of shops in Almalyk — hours, contacts, photos, neighbor reviews. We do not sell goods. We do not take orders. We do not take payment.
What we collect
If you only browse: language and theme in your browser, a small cookie so “see what they sell” is counted once per stall, a hash of your IP to cap spam, and anonymous page views.
If you create an account: email and a hashed password; optional display name and phone.
If you write a review: the stars, the text, and that it is yours. Reviews are public.
If you list or claim a shop: name, address, phone, Telegram, hours, photos, goods tags.
If you write to us: the name, email, and message you send.
Why we collect it
To run the directory, show stalls, stop spam, count unique photo requests, and reply to you. We do not sell personal data. We do not hold card numbers — there are no payments yet.
Who else sees it
We use Supabase (login and database) and Vercel (the website). They store data in the cloud, including outside Uzbekistan. Telegram, WhatsApp, and map apps you open from a shop page are their own services — we only pass the link.
We may disclose data if Uzbek law requires it.
Cookies
Necessary only: language, theme, sign-in session, and the photo-interest cookie (oydin_vid). We do not run advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Accounts and reviews until you ask us to delete them, or we shut the service. Interest cookies and IP hashes are for spam control, not a profile of you. Contact messages until we have answered.
Your rights
Email support@oydin.app to see what we hold, correct it, or delete your account and reviews. We will act as promptly as we can.
Children
Oydin is not aimed at children under 16. If a child has an account, write to us and we will delete it.
The law we follow
We aim to follow the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Personal Data”. Hosts sit abroad, so when you create an account or list a shop we ask you to agree to that transfer.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date on this page. The new text applies from that date.
